Master Gardener Interns

Interns are Master Gardeners in Training!

Individuals are considered Master Gardener Interns for the first year following their completion of the Master Gardener Training course.  The intern year gives current and recent course attendees opportunities to extend their classroom learning and report the 50 hours of approved volunteer service required for Certification as an Alabama Master Gardener.

Master Gardener Service Login Site  The secure site is often referred to as "The Auburn Database" because really, that's what it is! The online site is a database of Alabama Master Gardeners and the hours each logs as volunteers in our communities and as a learning community when we participate in Continuing Education activities. Only Interns and Master Gardeners can access the site.  Log in instructions are provided to interns as part of the Training Course, along with specific instructions on how to enter your initial hours.

  • If you need assistance with your login details, you should  contact your local, MG Auburn Database Administrator. or seek assistance from the MG Class Coordinator.
