Join us for our August field trip to Cathedral Caverns near Grant, AL, on Saturday, August 11th! The address is 637 Cave Road, Woodville, AL 35769. The cavern has one of the largest entrances of any cave in the world and contains some of the most awe-inspiring features Mother Nature has to offer, including a huge stalagmite called “Goliath.” |
Admission prices are $18.50 for adults, $8.00 for ages 5-12, and 4 and under are free. Groups of 25 or more only pay $13.00. The tour takes approximately an hour and a half.
After the tour, plan to meet for lunch at “Porky’s 2”, about 5 minutes from the caverns at 4697 Main Street, Grant, AL 35747.
Those planning to go and wishing to carpool may meet at the west side of the parking lot at the Hampton Cove Publix at 8:45 AM.
