Turf Grass Workshop with Rhonda Britton

The Master Gardeners of North Alabama, Inc., are presenting a FREE online educational workshop by Rhonda Britton,  Regional Extension Agent for Home Grounds, Gardens, and Home pests. 

The online workshop takes place on Tueday, September 14, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to NOON via the Zoom video conferencing platform. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

Rhonda will help you turn your yard into LAWN! She will talk about both cool and warm season grasses, properly maintaining your lawn, and how to deal with pests — like army worms!

Rhonda has been Madison County’s Regional Extension agent for five years and covers an eight-county area in northeast Alabama.   She has a BS in Horticulture and an MS in Plant Science both from Alabama A&M.  She also took PhD level coursework at Auburn in Agronomy and Soils.  She is married to Daryl Britton and they have two boys, Bradley, and Landon.
